EARLY-STAGE TECHNOLOGY PROJECT

Security built for
connected care.

Exploring practical cybersecurity concepts for medical devices, healthcare technology, robotics and AI.

iSAMO CyberShield v0.1 is a concept-stage initiative. It is not a certified product or an operational security service.
MEDTECHCYBERSECURITYRESPONSIBLE AIROBOTICS

Building a clearer view of security in connected healthcare.

SAMO CyberShield is an early-stage technology project focused on the intersection of cybersecurity, medical technology, rehabilitation robotics and artificial intelligence.

We are shaping an initial platform concept to help teams think about device visibility, network context, operational risk and human oversight—starting with simulated environments and careful technical exploration.

Medical device cybersecurity

Exploring how asset context, lifecycle awareness and security-by-design principles can support more informed conversations about connected medical technology. This project is studying relevant guidance, including European Commission MDCG 2019-16 Rev.1; it does not offer a compliance assessment.

AI with human oversight

Investigating how AI may help organise security signals in the future, with clear boundaries, explainability and decisions kept under human control.

Practical risk visibility

Prototyping simple ways to present device status, network context and indicative risk in a simulated, non-clinical environment.

Start with clarity.
Build with care.

The first concept, SAMO CyberShield v0.1, is being developed as a learning and prototyping foundation. Its initial interface is designed around simulated device inventory, network overview, example alerts and indicative risk markers.

These elements are illustrative only. They do not represent live monitoring, validated detection, clinical decision support or a production-ready security capability.

From exploration
to responsible progress.

NOW / v0.1Concept & simulated prototype

Define scope, test interface ideas and document assumptions without connecting to real devices or patient data.

NEXT / DISCOVERYTechnical and stakeholder learning

Clarify intended users, system boundaries, security requirements and applicable assurance pathways.

LATER / VALIDATIONControlled validation planning

Only consider real-world integration after appropriate expertise, approvals, safeguards and validation are in place.

Important scope note
This website describes an early-stage project. No certified product, regulatory approval, hospital deployment, validated threat-detection capability or operational security service is being claimed. The prototype uses simulated information only and is not intended for clinical, safety or security decisions.
